Travels with ID Larry

ID Larry and Lion Rachel share their experiences and photos as they travel the globe during his term as International Director.

Their first article describes their trip to New Delhi, India, to attend the International Directors meeting hosted by the Lions of India. They also visited programs and activities of other Districts in India.

Lion Rachel retired as an elementary school teacher in the Parkersburg Area, but she's still involved with their class work as she travels. For the first graders, she takes photos of "Flat Stanley" in front of the world's landmarks.  On the left, Flat Stanley appears in front of the Taj Mahal.

For grades 3 through 6, Lion Rachel creates map riddles as an exercise for the students to guess where she is. The kids love the exposure to world travel and sites while learning world geography.
