The mission of the West Virginia School is to bring together the family of Lionism to enhance their leadership skills and deepen their commitment to community services. We strive to fulfill that mission at each school. The 10th Anniversary school will be a great celebration for the school as well as an outstanding Leadership Development Experience. Attendance has grown over the past years from 135 at the first school to around 200. We strive to increase attendance for 2 reasons:
Clubs are encouraged to pay the registration for at least one of their members; some clubs have a special fund set aside to pay school fees for their future leaders.
School 2008 Speakers were: PID Samuel A. Milliken, Pennsylvania PID Aubrey Cherry, Texas PID Frances Cherry, Texas Bray Cary, West Virginia Media Seminar Training Tracks: New Lions Orientation; Secretary’s Training; President’s Training; Professional/Personal Development; Experienced Lions. |
