The mission of the West Virginia School is to bring together the family of Lionism to enhance their leadership skills and deepen their commitment to community services.

We strive to fulfill that mission at each school. The 10th Anniversary school will be a great celebration for the school as well as an outstanding Leadership Development Experience.

Attendance has grown over the past years from 135 at the first school to around 200. We strive to increase attendance for 2 reasons:

• To expose more Lions to a leadership development experience.

• To make our seminars more effective using an interactive type seminar.  The larger the groups, the more different ideas are discussed to help solve leadership problems.

Clubs are encouraged to pay the registration for at least one of their members; some clubs have a special fund set aside to pay school fees for their future leaders.
